These Terms form a general framework for the public DocuCode website and, unless a separate written agreement applies, use of the DocuCode service. A signed customer agreement, order form, data-processing agreement, or other specific contract takes precedence where it conflicts with these Terms.

1. Scope and operator

DocuCode is presented as a product of IMS DataIntel. These Terms of Use govern access to the public website at docucode.tech and any DocuCode functionality that refers to these Terms.

References to “DocuCode”, “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the provider identified above. References to “you” mean the visitor, account holder, or organisation using the website or service.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By entering the website, creating or using an account, or using DocuCode, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you use DocuCode for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or service.

3. Accounts and login credentials

  • Provide accurate information when an account is created or supported.
  • Keep login credentials confidential and use reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access.
  • Do not share an account unless the applicable service configuration expressly permits it.
  • Notify us promptly at support@adverse-media.com if credentials may have been compromised or an account is being misused.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use DocuCode to:

  • break any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right;
  • send unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious material;
  • introduce malware, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt systems;
  • probe, scan, bypass, disable, or interfere with security or access controls;
  • access accounts, files, systems, or data without authorisation;
  • resell, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority.

5. Files and user content

You retain responsibility for files and other content you upload, send, receive, or otherwise process through DocuCode. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content and to share it with the intended recipients.

Do not upload content that is unlawful or that you are not authorised to process. You are responsible for choosing recipients, access periods, and other available transfer settings appropriately for your use case.

6. Service behaviour and availability

DocuCode is designed for controlled, temporary file delivery rather than permanent document storage. Features, limits, access windows, and removal behaviour may depend on the service configuration or a separate customer agreement.

We may maintain, update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the website or service. We aim to communicate material changes when reasonably practicable, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

7. Security and confidentiality

You should assess whether DocuCode is suitable for the sensitivity, legal requirements, and risk profile of the files you plan to send. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep separate copies of any material you are legally or operationally required to retain.

Do not treat the public website as a channel for submitting confidential documents. Use only the designated product workflow and authorised recipient details.

8. Intellectual property

The website, product interface, branding, text, graphics, software, and other DocuCode materials are owned by or licensed to IMS DataIntel and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable customer agreement, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for its intended purpose.

9. Third-party links and services

The website may link to third-party websites or services. Those third parties control their own content, availability, security, and privacy practices. A link does not mean that we endorse or accept responsibility for the third party.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and service are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not make warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms or a separate written agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising from use of the website or service.

Any limits in a separate signed customer agreement apply instead of this paragraph where relevant. Nothing limits liability where limiting it would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, address non-payment under a commercial agreement, or prevent material harm. You may stop using the website or service at any time, subject to any separate contractual commitments.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable Bulgarian law, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply to you under other applicable law. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so that the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the website, service, legal requirements, or business practices. The effective date at the top of this page shows the latest published version. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or service.
