This Cookie Policy explains the browser storage technologies used by the public DocuCode marketing website. It does not describe storage used inside a separate authenticated application unless that application expressly links to this policy.
1. Current position
The public marketing website currently does not deploy advertising cookies, behavioural-tracking cookies, or analytics cookies. It uses a temporary session-storage entry solely to remember that you acknowledged the Cookie Policy and Terms of Use during the current browser session.
Acknowledging this policy is not consent to optional tracking because the website does not currently use optional tracking technologies.
2. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text file that a website can store through your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage and session storage, can also remember limited information in the browser.
Session storage is separate from cookies. It is normally available only for the current browser tab or session and is not automatically sent to the website server with each request.
3. Technology used on this website
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
docucode-policy-acknowledged-v1 | Browser session storage | Remembers that both policy acknowledgements were completed so the notice does not repeatedly interrupt navigation during the same session. | Current browser session. It is removed when the relevant session ends, subject to browser behaviour. |
The value is a simple “true” flag. The website does not use it to identify you, profile behaviour, or send information to advertising platforms.
4. Strictly necessary technologies
The acknowledgement flag supports the policy notice requested for the website. Because it is stored only for the current session and is used to provide the requested website experience, there is no separate optional toggle for it.
If optional analytics, advertising, or similar non-essential technologies are added in the future, this policy and the notice should be updated before those technologies are activated, and appropriate choices should be provided where required.
5. Third-party websites
The website contains links, including email links and a link to the IMS DataIntel website. A third party may use its own cookies or storage after you leave DocuCode or interact with that service. We do not control those technologies; review the third party’s policy before using its site.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers let you inspect, block, or delete cookies and website data. Blocking all browser storage may prevent the policy acknowledgement from being remembered, so the notice may reappear on a later page load.
Browser settings vary by product and device. Use the privacy or site-data section in your browser settings for the controls available to you.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website’s technology or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page shows the latest published version.
